About
Onyeka holds dual practicing qualifications having first qualified in Nigeria as a barrister and solicitor in 1998 and then enrolled as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in August 2002. He holds a bachelors degree in law (LLB), a vocational barrister-at-law degree (BL) and master of laws degree (LLM) in Environmental Law and Management.
Having been called to the Nigeria Bar in 1998 he was actively involved in advocacy at the Magistrates’ and High Court. In September 2000 he left Nigeria for the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where he pursued his postgraduate studies.

In April 2002 he successfully passed the College of Law’s Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test. Since September 2002 he has remained in active legal practice starting off as an assistant solicitor and then partner.
